ASUS has begun pushing the Ice Cream Sandwich update for their EeePad Transformer tablet just as they promised in January. The Transformer Prime was the first ASUS tablet that was updated to Android 4.0. So far, only the Wi-Fi version of the Transformer TF101 will get ICS. The 3G variant will be next in line.
Folks living in Taiwan have been first to enjoy Android 4.0 on their Transformer tablets. According to ASUS, U.S. owners will also get their shot at at the Ice Cream Sandwich update tomorrow, February 24. Here is its full changelog:
- Create folders in the Home Screen
- Quick launch of the camera from lock screen
- Additional screen capture method
- Additional browser functions
- Special camera effects and photo editing
- Swipe to close tasks or notifications
- Font size modification
- Other minor user interface changes
