Google opened a new position in the organizational structure which shows the seriousness of the company to get into the gaming industry. The post was named Chief Game Designer.
Google has recruited veteran game designer, Noah Falstein, to occupy the position since April 2013.
Falstein have big names in the computer games industry, because he was already in the industry since 1980. She has worked for LucasArts, 3DO, and Dreamworks Interactive, and helped develop the classic adventure game Indiana Jons and the Fate of Atlantis.
As quoted from the Tech Crunch, Google confirmed the news that the company has recruited Falstein. However, reluctant spokesman for Google unveil future plans in the gaming industry.
Previously, the profile include the Falstein LinkedIn account jabatanya today as Chief Designer at Android Play Game Studio. However, Falstein quickly remove the word "Android Play Studio" from LinkedIn profiles. Positions listed now only Chief Game Designer at Google.
