MediaTek Launches New Quad Core SoC

The development of low-cost hardware for mobile devices and the rapidly growing Android tablet. Cheap hardware choices or high-quality hardware that was widely available in the market. And, for the low-cost market segment, MediaTek very familiar name.

MediaTek also just released a new SoC processor products. And just as the MT6589 processor introduced last year, they belong to the new processor is a quad core processor.

MT6572 processor which is codenamed Wu Song. Processor SoC is built using 28nm technology and ARM-based Cortex-A7 architecture. In it, there is a Mali 400MP GPU. Regarding speed, the processor can be set up to 1.2GHz.

This processor supports GSM, EDGE and TD-SCDMA. Regarding the product, the MediaTek is expected to start mass producing in May of this year.
