Search Engine giant from Russia, Yandex, Shop Launches Application for Android

Yandex is better known as one of the search engines or the world's leading search engines from Russia. In Indonesia, the name might not be familiar Yandex. But whatever it is, in a recent data suggest that the use of Yandex in the list of world's top four search engines beat Bing.

And now they want to expand their business by opening a store application for Android smartphones and tablets. Yandex's application store is Yandex.Store. As a first step, there are about 50 thousand applications already provided on Yandex.Store.

The number of 50 thousand applications is fairly small compared with 700 thousand applications available in the Android Store. However, Yandex said that the applications they provide has a high rating in the Android Market, like Angry Birds or Cut The Rope.

With the establishment of these app stores, Yandex actually trying to open the option to other companies who want to work with them. Especially is the mobile phone manufacturers, especially those based in Russia and Turkey.
