Intel Show off 'Brains' new Smartphone

Although the smartphone processor market share currently dominated by Qualcomm, Samsung, and MediaTek, Intel does not necessarily make the attack to exist in the smartphone segment.

Although so far Intel has not experienced a significant improvement in the realm of smartphones, but the company from Santa Clara, California is still trying to show its presence through a number of variants that display of the latest processor at the Mobile World Congress 2013.

At the event, Intel showed off an Atom processor-based smartphones this time Clover Trail carries the code that comes in 3 variants namely Z2580, Z2560, and Z2520.

The three variants have different clock speeds diusungnya in the 2 GHz, 1.6 GHz, and 1.2 GHz. Besides the three already using 32nm manufacturing process that is claimed to consume little power consumption.

Clover Trail processor comes with Intel's Hyper Threading technology that enables dual core technology diusungnya recognized by the system as a quadcore processor. But of course the other dual core is just virtual cores.

While on the graphics processor, Intel GMA Intel entrust the flagship that runs at a speed of 533 MHz.

Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether the Z2760 will also adopt technologies such as Hyper-Threading in the dual core series.
